Dr. Carol Kolinsky, M.D. is a board-certified Ophthalmologist. She received her medical degree from the Michigan State University and completed a one-year rotating internship at the William Beaumont Hospital located in Royal Oak, MI and completed her residency there. Dr. Kolinsky also practiced general medicine in Tiptonville, TN for two years.
In June of 1990, Dr. Kolinsky opened her private practice in Escanaba and soon after the practice formed U.P. Ophthalmology. She has performed many cataract removals, glaucoma surgeries and treatments, eyelid surgeries, diabetic lasers, LASIK vision corrections, and complete eye examinations. Dr. Kolinsky is certified for the new CONTOUR facial suture cosmetic surgery and the new ReSTOR vision correction intraocular implants for cataract surgery. She is also members of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Michigan State Medical Society, American Medical Association, Delta County Medical Society, and Michigan Ophthalmologic Society.
Dr. Kolinsky resides in Escanaba with her two children Emily and Matthew and her husband Tom. She enjoys horse back riding, ballroom dancing, gardening, and is an active member at her church. |

Dr. Darrell Kohli. M.D. is a board-certified Ophthalmologist. He received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin and did a one-year residency for internal medicine at the University of Nebraska. Later he went to receive his Ophthalmology training from the William Beaumont Hospital located in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Dr. Kohli joined U.P. Ophthalmology with Dr. Kolinsky in July of 1991 and has performed numerous cataract removals, glaucoma surgery and treatment, diabetic laser and treatment, LASIK vision correction, eyelid surgery, and complete eye exams.
In addition to being a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology he is also a member of the Michigan State Medical Society, American Medical Association, Delta County Medical Society, and Michigan Ophthalmologic Society.
Dr. Kohli resides in Rapid River with his wife Patty and their two children Miranda and Darrell. He enjoys duck hunting, fishing, biking, and snowmobiling.

Dr. Jaylene Iverson, O.D.
Jaylene Iverson, O.D. received her Bachelors degree in Vision Science from
Ferris State University and a Doctorate of Optometry from the Michigan
College of Optometry. She is an active member of the Michigan Optometric
Association.
Dr. Iverson offers children and adult comprehensive
vision and eye testing. She specializes in contact lens fitting, treatment
of eye disease and disorders.
Dr. Iverson is a native of Gladstone and is the
daughter of Herbert and Marcia Iverson.
Dr. Iverson resides in Gladstone with her husband Peter
Bradfield. She enjoys playing with her two Yorkies, skiing and boating. |
